Our Commitment to Accessibility
CrownPlay is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to ensure we provide equal access to all of our users.
Conformance Status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.
CrownPlay is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. "Partially conformant" means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.
What We're Doing
We take the following measures to ensure accessibility of CrownPlay:
- Include accessibility as part of our mission statement and design process.
- Assign clear accessibility responsibilities to our development team.

Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, there may be some limitations. Below is a description of known accessibility barriers and their current status:
File Upload Interface
Issue: Complex drag-and-drop functionality may not be fully accessible to all screen readers.
Solution: Traditional file input buttons are always available as an alternative.
Dashboard Charts
Issue: Visual charts may not convey information effectively to screen reader users.
Solution: Data tables with the same information are provided below all charts.

Supported Browsers and Assistive Technologies
CrownPlay is designed and tested to work with the following:
- Screen Readers: NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver (macOS/iOS), TalkBack (Android)
- Browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge (current and previous major versions)
- Operating Systems: Windows 10+, macOS 10.15+, iOS 13+, Android 9+
- Voice Control: Dragon NaturallySpeaking, Voice Control (macOS)
- Keyboard Navigation: Full keyboard navigation support throughout the platform
Assessment Methods
CrownPlay assesses the accessibility of this platform by the following methods:
- Self-evaluation: Internal accessibility review by our development team.
- Automated Testing: Using tools like WAVE, Axe, and Lighthouse accessibility audits.
- Manual Testing: Keyboard navigation, screen reader testing, and color contrast verification.
- User Feedback: Reports from users with disabilities reviewed and acted upon.

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of CrownPlay. Please let us know if you encounter accessibility barriers. We aim to respond within 2 business days and address reported barriers within 30 days when feasible.
